Payair integrates Google Pay for Swedbank
Swedbank has just launched Google Pay, offering yet another mobile contactless payment solution for in-store payments. Swedbank is already live with Samsung Pay since 2017 and as of November last year their customers can also pay contactless with smartwatches from Fitbit and Garmin. In neither of these solutions the actual card number is stored on the device, instead a digital “Token” is created which greatly increases security. Payair is proud to have assisted Swedbank in these digital payment’s projects, providing pre-digitization and tokenization of Swedbank’s cards towards Mastercard’s MDES platform.
